About the Role
Sewell Wallis are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic well-established non-profit organisation in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, who are looking to secure someone on a temp rolling contract to cover sickness.
You must be available to start the contract immediately and be committed to working for the next month to cover the gap. You’ll need to have experience in a similar role within finance and ideally have experience on Xero.
What will you be doing?
- Banking – including reconciliations for the business's retail arm
- Reconciliation on Xero & filing of payments
- Reconciliation of credit cards
- Handling of finance enquiries inbox, answering queries
- Processing invoices
What skills are we looking for?
- Confident invoice processing
- Experience working with accounts payable
- Strong communication and written skills
- Experience managing an inbox independently
- Experience using Xero
What's on offer?
- ASAP start – i.e/ start the w/c 9.11.2026
- Flexible start and finish times to work around
- Salary of £26,000-£27,000
- 35-hour working week
