Transactional Finance Team Leader

We are currently working with a service sector business in South Sheffield who are looking for a Transactional Finance Team Leader to join their finance team at their shared service centre. This is great opportunity to join a fantastic team in a well-run and efficient department. They have excellent systems, processes and controls in place which enables them to offer an excellent accounting service to their clients, suppliers and employees.

As the Transactional Finance Team Leader you will act as the second in command to the Shared Services Delivery Manager to be responsible for:

-Day to day supervision and management of the transactional finance team including sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and treasury teams.
-The development of processes and procedures, ensuring a slick and efficient service is provided at all times.
-Deal with all escalated queries from the team.
-Ensure an excellent level of customer service is provide to all clients, suppliers and employees.

Suitable candidates will have the following experience and attributes;

-Will be an excellent people manager and will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and develop teams ideally in a shared services environment
-Experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll
-Excellent communication skills
-Great systems and process improvement skills
