Job description
We are working with our client based in North York, around 10 minutes drive away from the City Centre, to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join their team initially on a temporary basis with the view to turn permanent within a few months. For this role you will need to be available to start immediately and you will have previously held a role which enabled you to have full control of a large debtors list.Your responsibilities will include:
* Debt management for multiple accounts
* Setting up new accounts
* Payment allocations
* Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
* Placing accounts on stop
* Setting up and managing customer credit limits
* Bank reconciliations
* Assisting with sales ledger
* Other ad-hoc duties
Other skills you will have:
* You will need to be available immediately
* Confident in the full end to end process of credit control
* Have a B2C background in collections
* Self-motivated and comfortable working in a team
