Our Client is a leading manufacturer based near Meadowhall with a superb reputation and enviable staff retention.
They are currently recruiting for a senior payroll assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Dealing with both monthly and weekly payroll this is a busy role which requires solid experience within payroll and excellent communication skills. The main duties include:
*Processing weekly and monthly payroll for all employees
*Dealing with employee queries
*Assisting with furlough calculations and claims
*Pension and Benefits calculations and notifications
*Month end reconciliations
*Vat calculations and submissions
*Produce all end of year payroll documents
*Administer annual P11D submissions accurately and on time
*Produce annual P60s and P45s for all staff leavers accurately
*Inputting new starter details on the HR/Payroll system

Based within the finance team this role will also require some crossover with the team to cover holidays, sickness and heavy workload and they are therefore ideally looking for some one with exposure to other areas within accounts, in particular sale and purchase ledger.

The Successful Applicant will have solid payroll experience and have the confidence and attention to detail to deal with a busy role and communicate with both employees and the senior management team.
