Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant for rapidly growing global manufacturing business on the outskirts of Dewsbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant with a background in Manufacturing/FMCG looking for an organisation who offer ongoing progression opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and working closely with both the Sales and Operations teams, your responsibilities will include:-

Preparing monthly management accounts
Reporting and forecasting distribution expenditure
Preparing operational budgets and forecasts for the manufacturing cost centres
Product costing
Business partnering with the supply chain
Preparing group rebates and commissions
Assisting with the audit process
Taking ownership of the fixed asset register
Analysing and challenging the business performance
Financial reporting
Assisting with the implementation of process improvements or system changes
Managing a small team

Requirements

Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Business partnering experience
Experience of working within a manufacturing / FMCG / Logistics business
Costing experience
Strong IT and analysis skills
Excellent communication skills as this role will involve working with internal and external contacts
Good commercial awareness
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
