Sewell Wallis are excited to be working with a business that has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months, despite the recent challenging times.

Operating within the property sector, this business are rapidly growing and are very enthusiastic about what the future holds for them. With their head office in London, they have recently invested in an office in Stockport which they are looking to expand over the next 12 months or so.

To support with their recent growth and financial strategy to keep increasing their revenue, they now require a Senior Financial/Management Accountant to report into the Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking and modern organisation that really listens to and develops their employees.

As the Senior Financial/Management Accountant your role will include the following duties:-

-Responsible for the accounting for a set of management and holding companies within the Group structure including the overall parent company
-Production of Group VAT returns for the management companies
-Support with all aspects of the month end close
-Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
-Assist with year-end processes and statutory accounts preparation including notes
-Perform key balance sheet reconciliation tasks and central journal postings
-Assisting the Financial Controller for the preparation of multilevel, multicurrency group consolidated accounts via MS Dynamics
-Intercompany reconciliations
-Liaising with auditors as required
-Involvement in the ERP implementation project, including testing and data migration
-KPI Reporting using PowerBI
-Assisting with stock exchange reporting and compliance
-Assistance with development of and adherence to effective internal controls within the company's finance systems.

The ideal candidate will have trained in a recognised accountancy firm and will now have a year or twos experience working within industry. Not only must you be technically competent, you must also be a strong communicator who can confidently liaise with senior stakeholders in a business.
