Sewell Wallis are currently working with a leading Financial Services business who are looking to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team in Leeds.This is a high profile and pivotal role within the organisation and will involve leading the Financial Reporting team in the delivery of statutory, quarterly and regulatory reporting.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will also include:-
Partnering the business to ensure the team are financial reporting team are engaged in areas where accounting advice may be required
Supporting the accounting of a number of subsidiary entities
Being the key point of contact with the auditors
Identifying and solving financial reporting issues
Ensuring all deliverables adhere to the Financial Control Framework
Requirements
ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
Advanced Excel skills
Solid communication skills
Experience and knowledge of IFRS specific to FS companies
Strong attention to detail
