Sewell Wallis are excited to be partnering with this organisation due to their motivation and drive to succeed within their industry. This is not your run of the mill finance role, despite being required to sign off their accounts, this is much more about the operational and commercial side of finance and will eventually lead into a COO position.
Operating within a relatively niche industry, this business are eager to diversify what they can offer their clients and to grow those divisions quickly and effectively. In order to do this, they need a switched on, proactive and commercially astute finance professional to help to identify these new revenue streams alongside the Head of Sales & Acquisition.
This role will become whatever you want to make it. Our client is keen to identify the right person and then develop and grow the role around them. All you need is to be ACA or ACCA qualified with a huge drive to succeed and the desire to progress extremely quickly. You must be confident in dealing with senior stakeholders within a business and more importantly leading those relationships to identify potential new business for the company. Experience within tax would be beneficial but certainly not essential.
By building strong and robust relationships with existing and new clients, you will become the sole business partner across a number of organisations to support with any financial needs they have, rather than just providing support in the one area. Therefore someone with a background around financial consulting could be a great fit for this position.
You will also manage a small and growing team to support you along the way.
This is definitely a different opportunity but the long term prospects far outweigh the risk of trying something new.
