Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a global organisation with offices in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to work within their Group IT function.

You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA with experience of working in a business partnering role, ideally within a project environment.

Assisting the Group Finance IT FBP you will have exposure to key stakeholders across the business liaising primarily with IT and Project delivery and Procurement.

Your key responsibilities will also include:-

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts analysis, looking at costs and benefits
Partnering with internal stakeholders on BAU and project spend in the UK, working closely with the UK Finance Reporting team
Monthly consolidations
Preparing management presentations
Financial modelling
Liaising with the wider finance teams including Group FP&A to ensure that project activities are co-ordinated and actioned effectively
Supporting the overseas finance teams on best practices including streamlining processes

Requirements

Fully qualified Accountant with experience of working in a fast paced environment
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Ability to prepare reports and recommendations
Strong communication skills as this role will involve working with teams in the UK and overseas
Ability to work to tight deadlines
