Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a regulated business with offices in Leeds.You will be a fully qualified Accountant and reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include:-
Submitting monthly consolidated group results via Hyperion
Preparing monthly management accounts and annual budgets
Overseeing the preparation of monthly and annual accounts for the Group's companies overseas
Calculating of certain monthly UK to USGAAP adjustments
Supervising an Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller
Preparing corporation tax analyses and managing the submission of tax returns, payment of tax liabilities and group reporting of tax accounts.
Dealing with ad hoc enquiries from HMRC in relation of corporation tax and PAYE
Liaising with the international group in relation to international standards and mapping of accounts
Requirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
Strong IT and reporting skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong commercial acumen
