Senior Accountant

Sewell Wallis are working with a successful and long standing Accountancy Practice who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their thriving and friendly team. This is an established firm of chartered accountants who have two sites across Yorkshire with opportunity based in their Doncaster branch.

The job:-

- Preparation of year end accounts for clients from computerised and manual records.
- Managing limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole trader businesses.
- Performance of audits.
- Preparation of tax returns, P11D/Benefit returns, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns.
- Preparation of management accounts and similar management reports.
- Bookkeeping services on clients records.
- Provision of training to clients on the services described above.
- Responsibility for timetabling, budgeting and billing.
- Dealing directly with the client and ensuring they get the service that they require.
- Maintaining professional standards and ethics and acting in the best interests of the firm at all times.
- Promotion of a professional image of the firm and positive attitude regarding it in dealings with clients, 3rd parties and staff members.
- Reviewing the technical work produced for clients by staff, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll reports, management accounts, financial accounts and tax returns


The person:-

-Qualified or latter stages ACCA/ACA
-Proactive in approach.
-Good team player.
-Ability to manage a portfolio.
