Reporting Accountant

I'm excited to share that I am working on a brilliant opportunity for a Reporting Accountant to join a fast paced, manufacturing business in Derbyshire!

This would be a great move for someone who has worked in a similar industry or a first time mover from practice into the industry world!

As a Reporting Accountant you will get involved with the following:

  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly financial information
  • Overseeing the preparation of key financial reports
  • Providing commentary explaining variances between actual results and budgets etc
  • Closing month end overhead accounts, reviewing spends and balance sheet reconciliation with costing managers

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • Newly qualified-CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.
  • First time mover from practice with a good understanding of financial accounting. They may also have worked with previous manufacturing clients
  • Is a highly motivated individual with a hands on approach and ability to keep up with the demands of the business
  • Manufacturing experience in food or retail (desirable)
