Purchasing Assistant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant on behalf of a fantastic family owned business based in Sheffield.
This business values each and every employee.

Your duties will include:-
-Monitoring daily logs and source supply of materials
-Input of purchase orders
-Research potential suppliers for best price and delivery
-Track orders and ensure on time and correct to purchase order
-Follow up suppliers changes
-Update an internal databases (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts)
-Identify Price Trends
-Liaise with suppliers and follow up deliveries
-Book In receipt of all goods
-Input of Supplier purchase invoices
-Supplier queries
-Ability to negotiate and cut costs

The successful candidate will be:-
-Experienced in a purchasing role
-Manufacturing background (desirable, not essential)
