Role: Project Accounts Assistant
Salary: up to £21,000
Location: York
Your responsibilities will include:
* Building accurate supplier information to upload to a new system
* Source missing data
* Matching payments and credit notes to invoices
* Identify any missing invoices and match them to the correct payments
* Managing the finance inbox
* Ad-hoc accounts administration
* Assisting the project team when necessary
* Processing purchase ledger invoices
For this role you must:
* Have a good understanding of the purchase ledger process
* Ideally have experience working within a finance team
* Be competent with the use of Excel and be able to use pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
* Ideally have used Sage
* Be forward thinking and have the ability to work within a busy environment
