Personal Tax Manager

Job description

Sewell Wallis is delighted to be working with a growing independent Accountancy Practice with offices in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Manager.

This role will offer an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Tax specialist and reporting to the Tax Partner your responsibilities will include:-

Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
Overseeing and reviewing tax work carried out by junior team members
Providing tax consultancy advice
Ensuring all work is completed to agreed timescales
Liaising with with clients and HMRC regarding personal tax matters
Assisting with tax projects

Requirements

ATT/CTA qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience of working in Practice
Experience of managing a team
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and income tax compliance issues
Excellent analytical and IT skills
