Partner Tax Assistant

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a leading law firm based on Salford, who are looking to recruit a new Tax Assistant into their established team.

Their tax team has grown from 3 to 12 people over the past few years and consists of some highly knowledgeable individuals, who are eager to start passing that knowledge down through the team.

You will ideally be a personable, motivated individual who is looking to take that next step in their career. You must be confident in liaising with senior stakeholders in a business, in particular the Partners of the firm. This opportunity can offer you exceptional career progression and great exposure across the wider business.

Your role will include the following duties:-

- UK tax computation analysis of the firm and its related entities
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns
- Data analysis around pay as you earn settlement agreements and short-term business visitors
- Assist the UK partner tax return team
- Partner capital contributions
- Reconciliation of partner tax and capital account balances
- Analysis of annual tax reserves
- HMRC residence certificates
- Tax payment requests

Our client is looking for someone who is part qualified (ATT) and is looking to finish their studies in an international, professional services business.
