Working with a brilliant, reputable and well known group, this role is a great position for someone experienced within accounts and looking for a part time role.
This role would be working up to 3 days per week which consist of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Your duties will include:-
-Provide accounting assistance to the accounting departments within two companies of the group.
-Accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
-Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
-Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
-Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
-Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
-Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
-Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
-Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
-Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). --Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (SAP).
-Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
-Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
-Undertake all other reasonable work requests to support / assist the smooth running of the department.
