We are pleased to be working with a successful on line retailer located in Wakefield who are looking for a Marketing Assistant-E-Commerce to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for merchandising a range of e-commerce websites and expanding their online presence.

This is a great opportunity working for a rapidly growing business with an exciting product and vision. You'll join a successful, evolving marketing team who are looking to bring in an equally driven individual who will bring new ideas to the team.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing background in Ecommerce and will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to grow online presence within various marketplace platforms.

Responsibilities:-

*Manage new and existing products
*Ensuring that all products are accurate and presented commercially online
*Identifying methods to improve and implement product content
*Update changes and ensure that completed in a timely manner
*Liaise with commercial and production teams- to have an understanding of margin and stock demands
*Create weekly website and marketplace reviews
*Researching and implementing findings to develop commercial products successfully
*Communicate frequently with the busying and marketing team to develop ideas
*Conduct competitor analysis
*Keep up to date with trends and seasonality
*Working alongside agencies to product additional site content i.e. video content
*Research and evaluate methods to build trust and serve the most accurate and appealing product information on the marketplace

Ideal candidate:-

*Strong background in growing sales through market place platforms such as ebay, Wayfair, Amazon
*Degree in a relevant discipline e.g: marketing, business admin, management etc.
*Digital marketing and e-commerce awareness
*Competent using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
*Highly competent using Microsoft office package
*Strong understanding of SEO and keyword principles
*Experience working in e-commerce sales
*Strong numerical and data analysis skills
*Excellent planning skills
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Strong organisation skills
