Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a high performing, manufacturing SME based in Leeds who are on the look out for a new Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join their finance team.

Following an extremely busy year, they have created a new role for a commercially focused Management Accountant to business partner budget holders across the company.

We are looking for someone ideally newly qualified (exam qualified will also be considered) who is interested in seeing all aspects of an organisation and really adding value and making a difference.

Your duties will include the following:-

-Effectively business partner with all budget holders across the business, recognising where significant changes can be made to improve business performance
-Prepare the monthly management accounts, posting transactions and updating balance sheet reconciliations
-Provide meaningful commentary on key variances of monthly performance to senior management and budget holders
-Deliver meaningful management information to facilitate delivery of strategic objectives
-Support with the forecasting process, challenging stakeholders to account throughout the process
-Implement improvements upon existing reporting
-Act as the key point of contact for auditors
-Produce ad hoc financial reports
