We're so excited to help them find their Finance Manager / Management Accountant who will be a key member of the management team. They're looking for someone who will start in this role and in time will be promoted into a senior leadership role. With that in mind we're looking for an ambitious Accountant, used to working in an SME environment who is looking for a role that is more than you're ordinary Management Accounting role.
They require an immediate start for this role, suitable candidates will therefore be immediately available or available at very short notice.
-Preparing monthly management accounts
-Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
-Improve internal financial controls
-Analyse monthly overheads and provide explanations for variance
-Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements
-Provide relevant company financial KPI's
-Analyse accounts and business plans
-Financial forecasting and risk analysis
-Generate a weekly cash flow forecast and submit weekly updates. Ensure customer collection targets are reflected in credit control and monitored weekly.
-Support the team in generating annual budgets.
Suitable candidates will;
-AAT qualified and ideally PQ or Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Although experience is so much more important to them.
-Good systems/process improvement experience - this business would really like the new Finance Manager to review current systems, processes and controls and improvements can be made, improve them!
-Positive, charismatic, enthusiastic and a team player are all personality traits that fit well into this businesses culture.
