Management Accountant

Our client are a large global organisation based just outside of Leeds city centre who are looking to recruit a highly ambitious and motivated Management Accountant. This role will have a clear career development plan in place from day one and therefore requires someone who is aspiring to quickly develop into a senior accounting position.

Reporting into a highly experienced Finance Manager, your role will include the following:-

-Management reporting and financial oversight of the business unit
-Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation/review
-Meeting strict monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines
-Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for review for the UK and other legal entities
-Advise and influence operations with the goal of improving business performance
-Improve existing processes in order to achieve a quicker month end process and data analysis
-P&L analysis for multi site businesses and cost centres, identifying key variances for investigation
-Support the budget process
-Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs at year end
-Business partner and develop relationships across the business including General Managers and the Operations team

To be considered for this position you will ideally be a newly qualified accountant, however people nearing the end of their studies will also be considered. You must have experience working in a fast paced environment and be confident hitting tight deadlines.
