Management Accountant

We are exclusively supporting a fantastic Sheffield based manufacturer with their search for a Management Accountant. This is a new role working very closely with the Finance Director in an all-encompassing and hands on role. We're looking for a proven, versatile management accountant used to working in a manufacturing / engineering environment who is free to start at short notice and join them on a temporary basis with the view to the role being made permanent at the beginning of 2021.

This is a £5m t/o business, on track to be a £7m t/o business next year and making healthy profit. Although this business operates very much independently they are back by a larger group who continue to grow through acquisition.

The role will be varied and will therefore suit someone who has previous experience working for an SME. You will prepare management accounts to draft stage for review by the FD. You will manage all transactional finance from raising invoicing, managing WIP, credit control, the invoice financing facility and producing the cash flow forecast. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns and the EC sales list.

This role would suit either a qualified, part qualified or QBE accountant with experience in a similar role. You will be a confident communicator, used to working with people across all levels of the business including sales, purchasing and operations. You will be a self-starter, inquisitive with drive and a passion for what you do.
