Management Accountant

Job description

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a market leading, rapidly growing business who are dominant in their industry. The job;



*The management of accounts assistants and clerks which includes recruitment, daily supervision, performance management, training and development.

*Support the Financial Controller in maintenance of rolling cash flow forecasts and daily reconciliation

*Ongoing review of procedures to ensure that all revenues and expenditures are accurately accounted

*To ensure all invoices are properly authorised and processed in accordance with agreed procedures.

*To ensure that all fixed assets are recorded and accounted for.
*Support with and oversee preparation of management accounts
*Maintain effective reporting on management accounts
*Provide financial information to departmental heads

*To challenge the thinking of Department Heads and make them aware of the financial implications of their decisions and departmental performance. To assist them to improve financial performance and help identify opportunities.

*To monitor and report financial performance achieved.
*Provide ongoing support to all Senior Leaders within the business in terms of ad-hoc duties and reporting as required.



The Person;

*Highly computer literate, able to adapt to new accounting software, including gaining a detailed
*Able to work in a fast pace environment on own initiative and take ownership of role
*Able to manage a team
*Meet deadlines for period, quarterly and year end
*Develop and foster strong relationships with key personnel
