If you are an experienced Management Accountant who has public sector experience and you're desperately looking for a new challenge that will allow you to progress and take that next step in your career, then this could be the role for you!
Working directly with the Finance Manager and Group Accountant, producing the management accounts whilst reviewing processes to implement change to improve ways of working when necessary. The successful person will also offer assistance and guidance to members of the transactional finance team, as and when required.
They are happy to offer study support as they are looking for someone who is actively working towards their ACCA or CIMA!
Some of the duties:
* Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
* VAT returns
* Preparing the aged debtor report and reviewing when necessary
* Preparing the annual audit and statutory accounts
* Profit and loss analysis
* Balance sheet reconciliations
