Management Accountant

I have just been briefed on a fantastic, progressive role that is suitable for a part-qualified CIMA studier who is nearing the end of their studies, or someone who is newly qualified and is looking for a new challenge that will allow them to take the next step in their career!

My client, who are based near Bolton, are a market leader within their remit in the manufacturing sector and are recognised for delivering top quality products, and impeccable customer service. They have experienced continued growth over the last 5 years and now have many sites across the UK.

The business is also renowned within the area for their development courses and progression offering for employees across all areas, which makes them very sought after to work for.

They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them who is not only happy to oversee the transactional side, but they're eager to take control of the month end process; improving any processes as necessary, along with system improvements and financial controls.

A brief overview of some of the duties:

  • Processing monthly management accounts
  • Variance analysis
  • Cash forecasting and reporting
  • Annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
  • Analyse process and internal controls and determine any improvements/ implement any changes as required
  • Oversea the transactional team
