Management Accountant

Job description

We are currently working with a brilliant client of ours who are based in Halifax to help them to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

The successful person will be working towards their CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification - study support is on offer! - and they will have gained good exposure to the end-to-end management accounts process, to support the FC with month and year end.


Your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Analysis of stock
  • Being a key part of the audit process
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset register
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Financial reporting
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to drive improvement of processes
  • VAT reporting
