In this role, you'll report directly to the financial controller, providing crucial support with management accountant duties. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including producing monthly management accounts, assisting with budgets, forecasts, and P&L analysis, as well as handling accruals and prepayments. Additionally, you'll review trial balances and manage VAT. Journal posting, including payroll entries, and balance sheet reconciliations will also be included. You'll play a key role in identifying financial risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance across finance functions.

The ideal Management Accountant:
- Have a finance qualification or be currently pursuing one (desired)
- Previous experience in month-end management accounting (crucial)
- Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Adept at working both independently and collaboratively
- Possess a keen eye for detail
