The Management Accountant position is offered on a 12 months basis working in modern offices and as part of a larger finance function, easily accessible from Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Sheffield.
*Manage the month end management accounts preparation process in order to hit internal and Head Office deadlines.
*Review month end management accounts against budget/short term forecast and work with the commercial finance team to agree results.
*To reconcile and analyse nominal account entries.
*To prepare and input month end journals.
*Carry out balance sheet reconciliations.
*Control and review non stock purchase orders.
*Quarterly VAT returns.
*Prepare/analyse accounts for Year End reporting.
*Provide support and analysis to external auditors at Year End.
*Management of the Accounts Assistant.
*Provide support and assistance to the department as and when required. (cover peak periods, holidays and sickness etc)
*To communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
*Support other team members.
*To compile and generate reports as and when required.
