Sewell Wallis are working with a global business with offices in Leeds who are looking to recruit an International Group Accountant on a 12 month contract.Reporting to the VP Financial Reporting this is an excellent opportunity for an ACA qualified Accountant and your responsibilities will include:-
Managing the preparation of statutory accounts for the Group's international entity
Working with the international teams, building relationships and producing robust and high quality financial information
Managing key external reporting deliverables
Identifying improvement opportunities for the financial reporting process and implementing changes
Assisting with on-boarding of potential new international entities
Working closely with the Group's external auditors
Evaluating and assessing the impact of changes to relevant financial reporting standards
Requirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA
Solid understanding of IFRS
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
