Interim Year End Accountant

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Interim Year-End Accountant to join our flexible team on a temporary basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our year-end financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the year-end closing process, including preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data and ensure timely completion of year-end activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial statements and reports, identifying variances and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with audit preparation and serve as a key point of contact for auditors during the review process.
  • Stay abreast of accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in year-end accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
