Interim Systems/ Project Accountant

Sewell Wallis are currently looking for an Interim Project Accountant to join an excellent and well known FMCG organisation based in Bradford. This will be a 3-6 month contract and will be supporting the Finance Director alongside closely business partnering with the Operations department.

The role will focus on various projects throughout finance, including evaluating the current financial systems in place and advising where any changes are necessary.

Your role will be very varied due to the ever changing nature of the projects running through the business, however some of the key duties will be the following:-

-Effectively plan for and deliver system improvement projects
-Liaise with various stakeholders to determine the different requirements of the system, and to understand how any changes will impact the wider business.
-Support with the budget process and month end duties
-Looking at cost efficiency across all business areas
-Manage relationships and make regular communications to a wide range of stakeholders within Finance and the wider business
-Assisting in data migration projects
-Working with the finance team and the wider business to understand their requirements and existing processes to identify necessary changes / improvements and projects that you can lead and develop
-Streamline and standardise current Finance department work-flow processes to provide improvement in quality, service, and productivity

You will ideally have a background within FMCG and have a strong background surrounding systems and project work within finance. You will be commercially astute and be confident in liaising with senior stakeholders within the business.
