We our excited to be working with an internationally recognised, multi-site manufacturer as they look to appoint an Interim Project Accountant into their team. Whilst the company is based in Sheffield, working hours and location is totally flexible allowing employees to work remotely if they choose to do so.

This is an interim role for 12 months to provide elevated support during a particularly busy period for the business.

It's an exciting time to join a business where no two days are the same. They have just recently secured significant financial investment and therefore have some interesting performance improving plans on the horizon. We are therefore looking for a Chartered or Certified Accountant who thrives in a high pressure and changeable business who is a looking for a value adding role.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working within the central accounting function, the Project Accountant will be responsible for the management of the Financial Accounting team and to implement process changes needed to reduce the month end reporting cycle. Another area of responsibility will be to develop and implement processes and controls to ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled.

They're looking for a commercially savvy accountant, ideally with a background in engineering/manufacturing who will fully manage cost control with all functional heads across the finance team.

In return the business is offering complete flexibility over how hours are worked and hybrid working, a salary of c. £60,000 - £65,000 and a sizeable pension contribution.
