Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join a global PLC with offices in Leeds for c3-4 months.
Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA qualified with a strong background in statutory reporting and accounting as well as audit.
Reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include:-
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Co-ordinating and overseeing the statutory audit
- Managing and overseeing financial transaction processing
- Supporting the parent company in preparing detailed quarterly reports
- Liaising with external tax consultants
- Ad hoc project work
Requirements:-
- Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / ACCA
- Strong technical and reporting background
- Good working knowledge of UK and international accounting regulations
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders both in the UK and overseas
