Interim Financial Accountant

Job description

Our client is a medium sized organisation based in south Leeds who quickly require some interim support to help with their current audit and the preparation of statutory accounts. The role is a stand alone position and can be done remotely, however it will require one day a week travel over to south Leeds to meet with the team once lock down is lifted.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong knowledge of IFRS. Duties will include the following:

-Support the Financial Controller with the current audit process
-Carrying out a variety of financial duties associated with month end preparation and submission of the UK balance sheet.
-Preparation of reports such as balance sheet risk reviews
-Production of the statutory accounts.
-Balance sheet reconciliations.
-Ad hoc project work as required
