Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a 6 month period to assist a reputable manufacturing group based in Sheffield.

We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant who can start this at short notice supporting the business with their financial year end which falls in March. The role will primarily be home based but may require occasional trips to the office when required.

We're looking for a qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA considered) Financial Accountant with strong balance sheet experience. Duties will include;

*Working with the Central finance team to ensure full balance sheet reconciliations across all the Central activities
*Reviewing of other business unit balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances fully supported
*Updating of Fixed Asset register for current year additions
*Inter-company reconciliations
*Implementing the process changes needed to reduce the month end reporting cycle

This role will suit;

*Qualified Financial accountant with broad financial accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing
*Excellent communication skills.
*Demonstrable experience managing balance sheet reconciliations.
*Comfortable working with large datasets and using excel formulas.
*Positive attitude and team player.
