Interim Business/Systems Analyst

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a highly successful manufacturing company based in Leeds who have an exciting new opportunity for an Interim Business/Systems Analyst to join them on a 12-18-month basis.

This is a great role for a finance professional who is naturally very strong around systems and processes. You will be required to understand, assess and rectify financial transactions within the current system, advising on where any issues lie and the necessary improvements that need to be made.

Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, the Interim Business/Systems Analyst will include the following:-

-Pro-actively drive forward the development of the current system and report its functionality back to the senior management team
-Quickly demonstrate a high-level understanding of the existing processes and system in place and document through flowcharts
-Provide users with a modern and responsive system that provides the correct information efficiently and effectively
-Make intelligent recommendations on existing processes in place, testing and then implementing once management have signed it off
-Take the lead on system and process reviews
-Working on ad hoc system projects when required
-Effectively communicate all findings to the wider business

To be considered for this role you must be available to start as soon as possible and it is essential that you have a strong background working on system improvement projects.

Strong knowledge of SQL is also essential and experience using Sage X3 would be highly beneficial.
