They therefore require a Head of Finance to join their business to support with this transition and to support with their projected future growth. This role would suit a hands on finance professional who is looking to progress their career at a rapid pace, eventually leading to a FD/CFO position.
As the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include the following:-
-Support with the transition of bringing the finance function in house, looking at the current systems and processes that need to be in place
-Consider any extra junior support required in the finance function to make the transition as smooth as possible
-Produce the monthly management accounts with supporting commentary and variance analysis
-Regular cashflow forecasting and regular communication to the Senior Management Team on who this is looking on a weekly basis
-Business partner with all the departments heads, including the sales teams to produce an accurate forecasting model
-Full control over any compliance related issues, looking to mitigate any risk towards the business
-Have a strong operational focus across the business to support with any key commercial and strategic decisions
-Hands on book keeping duties when required initially until the finance function is fully running
You must be a qualified accountant, ideally 3-4 years post qualified with the ability to work regularly in the Leeds office when office working can return to normality. You must be commercially aware and not be afraid to challenge non finance stakeholders across the business.
It is important that you have a strong educational background with a confident personality who can support the business in driving it forward.
