Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working exclusively with a well known brand located on the outskirts of Bradford who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant into their growing Head Office Finance team.

You will be a fully qualified Accountant / newly qualified and this would suit candidates looking to make a first move into Industry.

This is an extremely varied role with exposure to both financial and management accounts and reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:-

Producing year end statutory accounts, VAT returns and tax packs
Ensuring robust controls are in place
Producing consolidated monthly management accounts and providing analysis and reviews of the business performance
Driving process improvements
Cash flow forecasting
Creating and maintaining dashboards for the business to use
Financial modelling and analysis
Supporting the Groups Payroll function
Liaising with the auditors
Providing technical advice across the wider business
Ad hoc project work

Requirements

Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACA/CIMA with a strong reporting background
Ambitious and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Advanced Excel skills / VBA
Strong attention to details
Excellent communication skills

This role is office based with an element of home working, but will also involve some travel between different sites.
