Our client, a Harrogate based dynamic group of companies which has evolved over 60 years of trading providing an extensive range of specialist products tailored to various industries, are looking to recruit a Group Finance Business Partner into their team.
In this exciting Group Finance Business Partner position, you will support the Group Finance Team in delivering an effective business partnering service to a number of Group support functions including IT, HR and Property.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly reporting for the Group functions including P&L, BS and Cashflow (actuals and forecast)
- Undertake detailed analysis and investigation of key financial areas as required
- Report findings, make recommendations and develop action plan for process improvements
- Support, challenge and monitor key financial levers, expenditure plans and decisions
- Prepare and support capital expenditure appraisals for major projects
- Work closely with Divisional Finance teams to ensure accountability and support of Group projects
- Prepare and obtain information to build the annual budgets
- Support finance contribution to Divisional board meetings & senior team reviews as required by Functional leads
Personal Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Experience of working in partnership with non-financial managers, particularly at a senior level
- Passionate about driving business change and being able to add value
- Able to work successfully on own initiative
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and concurrent challenges effectively
- Sound modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
