The role would suit an ambitious individual as there are genuine opportunities to progress and develop within the business.
It is a requirement that candidates have an Accountancy and Finance Degree from a good University and will ideally have achieved a 2.1 or above.
As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
Weekly/monthly/quarterly sales analysis
Commercial analysis around company performance and profitability.
Management accounts - accruals, pre-payments, journals.
Product profitability and costing reports.
Assisting with the transactional process.
Accurate and timely support to the Management Accountants.
Working as a team to achieve results.
Liaising and dealing with all depot accounting queries/problems.
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ambitions to progress quickly.
Ability to quickly integrate into the team.
An Accountancy & Finance Degree (or equivalent) and have achieved a 2.1 or above.
