Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a French Speaking Accounts Assistant to join a large multinational organisation based in the Pudsey area. This is a fantastic entry level opportunity for someone looking to get into the accounts sector.

The position reports into a knowledgeable Purchase Ledger Manager who has been with the business for years and has created a great working environment within her team.

The role will predominantly be focused around the purchase ledger function but in addition will involve other elements of transactional accounts.

Duties include:
High volume purchase ledger invoice processing.
Assisting the Purchase Ledger Manager with payment runs.
Reconciling statements from suppliers.
Processing expenses.
Matching debit and credit notes.
Raising cheques for payments.
Bank reconciliations.
Sending out invoices to customers.
Petty cash management.
Processing VAT returns.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
A fluent grasp of the French language (essential).
Prior transactional accounts experience (desirable).
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience of working within an office environment.
Excellent communication skills.
