FP&A Accountant

Job description

We're working with a long standing business who are recruiting an FP&A Accountant.

As the FP&A Accountant you will report to the Finance Director and support decision making within the business. This will include performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, along with other analysis to support business initiatives.

*Financial lead on budgeting and forecasting:
oResponsible for the generation of short date / monthly rolling forecasts
oResponsible for the evaluation and ranking of production run profitability
oVariance reporting against forecasts
oGeneration and reporting of monthly management accounts
oGeneration and reporting of commercial margins
oSupport the strategic planning process for the business
oAd-hoc scenario modelling and reporting

*Other
oSupports Finance Director in the conduct of their duties
oSupports business change initiatives
oUndertakes ad hoc projects as required
oChallenges current working practises and processes to drive improvement within the finance
oMaintains effective working relationships with the Company's stakeholders and external parties
oContinually develop and improve financial IT systems and processes

The benefits;

*£45k to £50k salary.
*27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per year.
*Pension scheme is +3% up to a maximum employer contribution of 10%.

*Hybrid working, up to 2 days a week working from home.
