Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering with a business within the healthcare and wellbeing sector in Leeds, who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.

This is a newly created role, working closely with the Finance Director and our client is ideally looking for an individual who has a strong background in setting up and maintaining financial controls.

Your key responsibilities will include:-

Supporting the preparation of the monthly management accounts as well as reviewing and challenging all areas of reported financials
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans, own and fully manage the critical quarterly rolling forecast
Financial reporting and analysis
Cash flow management
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Stakeholder management
Debt management and collection
Liaising with external auditors for both statutory accounts and tax computations
Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
Working closely with management and executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
Managing a team of 2


Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience of leading a finance function
Able to demonstrate a commercial awareness
Solid communication and partnering skills
