Our client is a leading digital business based in the heart of Leeds city centre that can offer something a bit different than most other employers - genuine, fast, career progression. They are on the lookout for an ambitious and highly motivated Financial Accountant to join their team. Ideal opportunity for a 1st time mover or someone who has made their way up within industry having recently qualified.

Our client have some of the healthiest accounts you will have seen a long time and offer an exciting and genuinely interesting product to their impressive customer base. They are a fast paced, award winning business that has continued to go from strength to strength over several years and now have 15 offices across the UK, Europe, Australia and North America. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven Financial Accountant who is looking to join a digital business with a high performing finance team.

You will report into an experienced Financial Controller and day to day your role will look like this:-

-Preparation of the monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet review for the Financial Controller
-Manage monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items
-Preparation of VAT and other HMRC returns
-Review existing financial processes and controls
-Cash management and treasury duties
-Support the management accounts team when required
-Increase the speed at which month end is currently being completed whilst maintaining a robust control environment
