Finance Manager - Harrogate - £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Hybrid working

Sewell Wallis are currently working with a growing business in Harrogate who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their successful team.

This role could suit an experienced Finance Manager or Management Accountant, an accounting qualification is not a prerequisite and both QBE (with 5+ years' experience) and qualified candidates will be considered.

Key requirements:

* Ownership of the financial processing and reporting
* Preparation, review and full documentation of assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly VAT returns.
* Submission of monthly management accounts
* Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.
* Provide variance analysis and commentary
* Responding to client queries
* Supporting with annual audit
* Managing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants

Profile:

* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, part qualified or QBE with at least 5+ years of experience
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Comfortable with analysing large amounts of data
* Able to communicate analysis to key stakeholders succinctly and confidently
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
* A team player with a flexible and positive attitude
