Finance Manager - £45,000 - £55,000 + bonus

A profitable business in York are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into their successful team and will be reporting into the Head of Finance.

Duties will include:

- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Improving and streamlining systems and processes
- Processing data from business systems to be able to compare what was predicted to actual figures
- Providing central expertise and liaison for financial reporting matters with Group board, key management personnel, internal and external auditors and other finance staff
- Monthly management reporting, year-end statutory reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting of Group's P&L and balance sheet
- Daily cash reporting
- Communicating with Group tax department to ensure tax related compliance

Experience required:

- Strong technical background
- Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA)
- Be able to use Excel to a high standard
- Experience working with HFM or SAP would be desirable but not essential
- Be a driven, proactive, and reliable team player
