Sewell Wallis are delighted to be exclusively working with JCT600 in their search to find a new Finance Manager to lead their highly dynamic finance function.

This exciting new Finance Manager role has a clear career path mapped out from day one, as they are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual who will be looking to step up to Financial Controller soon.

This role will oversee a finance team of 15 people, with 4 direct reports to motivate and manage daily. It is therefore a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to improve their management skills and business partner with the wider organisation, particularly the sales team.

As the Finance Manager your day-to-day role will include the following duties:-

-Manage the accounts team on a day-to-day basis, driving influence and motivation throughout the team by doing effective one to ones on a regular basis
-Ensuring that the monthly management accounts are completed in a timely and efficient manner, providing commentary and analysis to highlight any areas of concern
-Monitor financial performance and provide key performance indicators for all sites and departments
-Advise the operations departments on financial performance, margin costs and overheads
-Analyst and look for ways to reduce costs and expenses for all sits, departments and cost centres
-Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed in accordance with company procedures
-Provide regular and meaningful financial accounts to Head Office
-Oversee the completion of the quarterly VAT returns
-Oversee the production of P11d's
-Support with the overseeing and control of the market area's borrowings, cash flow and liquidity, briefing the Brand Director daily
-Produce an internal year end pack
-Create a team culture of high performance and excellence throughout
-Review and implement any process of system changes

Our client is ideally looking for a qualified accountant, however they will consider part qualified individuals who are looking to complete their studies soon. The main skill required is man management. It doesn't matter if you've managed 2 or 20 people, the main requisite is that you are a confident people leader and it's something you are passionate about and wish to continue.

You will still be producing the accounts for one site, so it's important that you can still roll your sleeves up and get into the detail when required.
