Finance Manager

I have just been briefed on a brilliant opportunity for a Finance Manager to join one of our clients in North Leeds on a part-time basis - 22.5 hours per week.

The business has an impressive reputation within the area and they're very well-known across the UK for providing an excellent service in their field, within the public sector.

They have created a friendly, collaborative and supportive environment to work in and they offer great perks, as well as hosting regular social and team building events.

This role would be ideal for someone who is comfortable with the end-to-end management accounts process, has previously worked within the public sector and also someone who has previously managed and mentored a team.

Whilst they would prefer someone who is working towards their ACCA/ CIMA/ or ACA studies, they will consider those who are not working towards a qualification and are more QBE, with the right experience.

Some of the duties:

  • Manage and support the finance team
  • Analysing and implementing new processes, to improve ways of working
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Manage the annual audit process, being the main POC
  • Business partner with budget holders
