Sewell Wallis are working with an impressive business currently looking to recruit a commercially focused and hands on Finance Business Partner.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and diligent qualified or latter stages candidate to join a vibrant team in a compelling role that requires someone with fresh ideas and tenacity - Business partnering various departments to support their understanding and influence the senior management team on how to drive performance based on the numbers.

The role:-

*Ensuring all management accounts for each department are accurate before final distribution.
*Preparing the budgeting and forecasting plan for the business and understanding movements between current and previous trends, identifying any potential future risks as well as opportunities.
*Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relations across different functions of the business, with the ability to both support and challenge peers and senior managers.
*Providing advice and support to cost centre managers on reasons for cost variances across the business, make recommendations for improved financial controls and drive improved cost efficiency.
*Producing sales and margin analysis with detailed variance analysis.
*Developing and enhancing the monthly reporting packs and ensuring they are consistent across the business.
*Playing a key role in implementing KPI reporting across the business.
*Providing critical analysis and challenging the business areas where necessary.
*Producing bridge analysis and explanation for variance from budget/forecast.
*Capex and fixed asset management.

The person:-

*Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA or QBE/ finalist level also considered.
*Be commercial minded with relevant commercial experience.
*Have good organisational and planning skills so as to be able to manage and prioritise workload whilst maintaining flexibility and achieving tight deadlines.
*Be a team player, with the ability to work as part of a team and be proactive in the team's advancement and development.
*Excellent communication skills.


*Previous experience of business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
*Experience of data visualisation packages such as Tableau or Power BI would be useful but not essential.
