Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant, based in Sheffield.

We are working with a well-established company which provides a range of services for customers. Sewell Wallis are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Assistant who is an excellent communicator, passionate about their job and can work both independently and as a team!

Within this role you'll be working with the Financial Reporting Team, your key duties and responsibilities:

  • Carrying out daily banking
  • Posting payments and receipts.
  • Assessing bank levels and processing transfers between accounts.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Credit control and management of sales invoices (including uploading invoices).
  • Managing virtual credit card processing and authorising and collating receipt.
  • Communication with staff and customers/partners via email.

If you're interested, you'll need to have the below experience and qualifications:

  • A-C/4-9 grade in GCSE subjects including Math's and English (or equivalent)
  • Part/fully qualified AAT or a degree in business/accounting subjects.
  • Experience with bank management, including reconciliation.
  • Experience with invoice processing within a finance function.
